On May 18, 2024, the Wilson County Amateur Radio Club (WC4AR) will mark its 40th anniversary at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park, shelter #7. A potluck picnic and Parks on the Air (POTA) activation event will run from 11AM to 4PM.
All amateur radio operators and persons who are interested in learning about the hobby are urged to drop by.
The Wilson County Amateur Radio Club was established in 1984 by committed ham radio operators in the local community. Since then, the Club has established itself as an important community resource by providing special event coverage, amateur radio training, auxiliary emergency communications, and amateur radio operating events to introduce the hobby to prospective newcomers.
