Let's try this again...
Hi Hugo,
The trip to Peru sounds exciting. Try not to start any riots or coups
like in Venezuela. If you find a station to operate, I would like to
attempt a QSO with you. Depending on the time, propagation and of
course the OA station's capability, perhaps we could try 20M first. If
no luck there then maybe 80M in the early evening. On 20M how about
14308 kHz. On 80M we could try 3794 kHz, but beware, if other stateside
stations hear an OA station on 3794 kHz, you will find yourself on the
business end of a pile-up. Maybe we should attempt it on a frequency
outside the DX window on 75M ( 3820 kHz ).
If possible, email me if you know ahead of time when and where you will
be on the air. I'm flexible on the frequency and time.
Also, I am sending this reply to the club reflector in case anyone wants
to join us.
Have fun. Bring me back something nice... gold and/or copper would be
nice. Or perhaps a small beaker of Amazon rain forest rain. I hear
that's good stuff. :)
