[ WC4AR ] FIELD DAY UPDATE

ATTENTION ALL HAMS. ATTENTION ALL HAMS. ATTENTION ALL HAMS.

Two items of update regarding Field Day '08.  First of all, will be honored
with a visit from State Representative Susan Lynn Saturday afternoon.  She
is tentatively scheduled to arrive at 4:00 PM and spend about an hour with
us.  Her aid said that the Representative is very curious about Amateur
Radio and the Emergency Service aspects of it.  Secondly, I have just
received word that the weekend producers for Channel 4 News have indicated
that they will be sending a crew out to cover our event.  I will try to keep
you posted on this as the times and details are worked out in the next few
days.

If you plan on setting up or just coming out to the fairgrounds for Field
Day, please send us a not to FieldDay at wilsonarc.org and let us know what
equipment you are bringing, what bands/modes you plan on operating, and
other equipment and goodies you are bringing.
