Hello Wilson ARC members and friends,
If your ARRL Membership is due in the next few months, why not go ahead renew
now through the Wilson ARC and let us keep part of your ARRL membership fee here
in the club.
When you join ARRL or renew through the club, the club gets to keep $15 for a
new membership and $2 for a renewal. If you have not been a member of ARRL in
the last two years, your membership is considered new for purposes of this rebate.
The way it works is, you complete your portion of the application form and make
a check out to Wilson ARC for your full ARRL membership. Send, or bring, your
application and check to me, I will do the club's paperwork, cut a check from
the club for the total of all memberships processed (less our rebate) and mail
it all in. This does not save you any money on your ARRL membership, but it
does allow the club to keep part of the membership fee.
My membership is due soon and one other member is renewing now as well, so if
you want to join ARRL or renew your membership now, send me an email letting me
know you want in on this round, and we will process them all at once.
The application form is available for download from our web site here:
http://www.wilsonarc.org/files/clubapp.pdf
Finally, regardless of when your membership is due for renewal, or when you join
ARRL, please consider letting the Wilson ARC process your application. We can
do this any time you wish. But of course, we save on postage if we process a
bunch of them together as opposed to once a month.
Mail your applications to:
Wilson Amateur Radio Club

Lebanon, TN 37090-7669
