[ WC4AR ] Fwd: [ SMRC ] Summary-April club meeting

It appears the Wilson ARC will not be providing
the concessions for the Short Mountain Repeater
Club hamfest in Gladeville later this year.  The
notice below was just sent to the SMRC mailing list.

Oh well, were lucky to have been given the
opportunity these last three years.  We did very
well the years we had the concessions thanks in
large part to Rannye & Jerry Robertson (2005-2007)
and Gloria & Bob Learmont (in 2005-2006).  Next
time you see or hear Jerry and Rannye, be sure to
thank them again.

I hate that we won't get to do the job this year,
but I wish the SMRC the best of luck with the
hamfest and concession stand.  I look forward to
helping them any way I can, and I know many of you
will too.

For the record, I am also a member of SMRC... but
of course, I like WARC better.  :)
